Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer “M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” is still going strong at the box-office. The movie has earned Rs. 129.5 Crore at the domestic box-office becoming the second highest grosser of 2016.
While Salman Khan’s “Sultan” is still leading the race with Rs. 300.5 Crore in its kitty. “M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” has beaten the box-office collection of Akshay Kumar-starrer “Airlift”, which stands at Rs. 129 Crore, in the three weeks of it release to take the second place.
The movie chronicles the journey of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni from a TC to becoming the captain of the Indian cricket team. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, it also featured Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, Disha Patani and Kiara Advani.
“M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” is also the second highest opener of 2016 with a collection of Rs. 21.3 Crore on its debut day, September 30.
