Yesterday the news of Emraan Hashmi-starrer “Raaz: Reboot” leaked online was every where. The actor even took to microblogging website Twitter and posted a heartfelt message urging the audience to watch the movies in theatres.
And today the director, Vikram Bhatt, posted a tweet saying that it was a prank. His tweet read: Relax my friends! Nothing has leaked online. Except for these uncensored 32 f@#ks! #RaazReboot. (https://twitter.com/thevikrambhatt/status/776296396781674496)
It’s a 17 second video from the movie, which also features Gaurav Arora and Kriti Kharbanda.
Mahesh Bhatt, who is producing the movie, also tweeted: The news of RAAZ REEBOOT being pirated was a prank! Only this clip was pirated.
Really Mr. Bhatt, a prank? At a time when piracy is one of the major concerns of the industry, they chose to play a prank with the audience. And that too two days before it’s release date.
So what is it really : a prank played well or a publicity stunt? What do you think?
“Raaz: Reboot” will clash with Amitabh Bachchan-starrer “Pink” at the box-office. It is the fourth movie of the “Raaz” franchise.
