I love strong tough women. Women who live life on their own term, says Priyanka in the video for W magazine

There’s is no stopping for Priyanka Chopra. She is everywhere and everyone wants to be like her. After making it to the list of ‘100 most influential people’ by Time magazine, the actress’ name is now included in “The New Royals” list by W magazine.

She uploaded a clip from the video shot by the magazine on her Facebook page and wrote: It’s been a while since I’ve given a screen test W magazine #TheRoyals.

Priyanka also features on the cover of the magazine and she looks stunning. In the clip, she said, “Royalty, I really feel, is not something that you’re born into that you are. It’s a certain quality that when you walk into a room, people look, or they just need to turn. And that’s when you’re really blue-blooded.”

She further said that she admires women who live life on their own terms. She said, “I love strong, tough women, you know. Women who live life on their own terms and I would say, Jennifer Lawrence, I adore her, Rihanna, just cause she’s just so – doesn’t give a shit. I love that about her.”

Recalling the time when she was crowned Miss India, the “Quantico” star said it blew her mind because she was the gawkiest teenager and had no self-esteem.

“I became Miss World, it was year 2000. I was 17 years old. Just out of school, didn’t know anything, never walked on heels. I still get scared thinking about what I felt that day… I actually sang during my talent round, but I didn’t win. I sang ‘Save The Best For The Last’, by Vanessa Williams. I was really bummed I didn’t win, you know? Some girl twirling some things won. It blew my mind that I won Miss India, because I was like the gawkiest teenager, I had no self-esteem, I got really bullied when I was in school in America, so that crushed my spirit a little bit more,” she said.

“When I was a teenager, I was a tomboy, so I had scars, I was always falling on my knees. They were not the prettiest legs in the world, and then I taught myself how to take care of my body. Anybody can do it if I can. And today my legs sell, like 12 or 15 products, you know. In my part of the world, yeah, they do,” she added.

Priyanka is a true inspiration, isn’t she?

She is currently busy with the second season of her TV show “Quantico”, which will go on-air on September 25. She will also be seen in “Baywatch” along with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
