Arjun Kapoor is in New York shooting for his upcoming movie “Half Girlfriend” with his co-star Shraddha Kapoor. The actor took to Twitter to share his excitement about the movie being the first Bollywood film to be shot at the United Nations Headquarters.
He posted a photograph on his Twitter handle and wrote: Amazing…The first Indian film to be shot inside the UN #halfgirlfriend @unitednations @chetan_bhagat @mohit11481
“Half Girlfriend” is based on the novel of the same name by Chetan Bhagat. The movie will see Arjun play Madhav Jha and Shraddha will essay Riya Somani.
In the book, Madhav gets an internship at UNFPA so that he can work and look for Riya at the same time. So I guess that’s why the team shot at the UN headquarters.
Directed by Mohit Suri, “Half Girlfriend” will hit the screens next year.
