Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are busy shooting for their upcoming movie “Half Girlfriend”. The movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat.
The team is in New York to start shooting for the next schedule of the movie.
Chetan took to microblogging website Twitter and shared a photograph with the lead actor. He tweeted, “Coz in the end, Madhav Jha has to run in New York to find his love. Team #HalfGirlfriend arrives NYC today.Welcome!”
Arjun replied to his tweet by saying, “Cause that’s what the author wrote, it almost seems like he knew he would be part of it while it unfolded…hmmmm…”
The novel “Half Girlfriend” is based on Madhav Jha and Riya Somani – how their love for basketball makes them good friends, but they go separate ways when the guy wants more than friendship, and how they meet once again later, only to get separated again, but finally reunite in the end.
Directed by Mohit Suri, the movie will hit screens on May 19, 2017.
Arjun was also a part of the screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s best selling novel “2 States” where he was paired with Alia Bhatt. This is the first time he will be sharing the screen with Shraddha. Let me know if you are excited to see them together on-screen.
